I think Cillian Murphy (above) would make for an excellent Henry Dorsett Case.

I'm male, Misty, so prettiness wasn't really a consideration. He is a good actor, though.

Heck. I find Cillian Murphy to be creepy. Or at least he's played creeps in any movie I've seen him in.

He played protagonists in 28 days later and Sunshine. It was his role in Sunshine that had me consider him as Case.

And what about Bruce Willis as Corto Willis (aka Armitage)

Cillian Murphy has that absent-body porcelain doll sort of effect that could help for the cyber jockey look, but I'd agree he'd need a prep of like a year in Mexico City and extended sleep deprivation during the shoot to pull a Case.

Cillian Murphy could work, I wouldn't be unhappy with that. I always pictured case as a very young Mickey Rourke myself. I like Bruce Willis as Armitage. I can see him doing an awesome job freaking out at the end when Armitage looses his mind. It's hard for me to get around Carrie-Ann Moss as Molly. To me, seeing her as Trinity was pretty much Molly without the blades in her fingers. Asia Argento maybe? Maybe WG can make a cameo as the voice of Dixie Flatline

Damn. You know that could almost work? ________A child wounded in body and spirit. An iguana driven mad by pain. A woman fighting to save them both and the man who is their only hope...

I like a young Gary Oldman as Case: If the passage of time is not an issue, of course.

William Gibson as Dixie Flatline is a fantastic idea.
I have the same hangup vis a vis Carrie-Ann Moss as Molly. Hard to imagine anyone else.

I thought of the perfect Finn last night... Harry Dean Stanton.

more than almost. it's perfect. i've never considered carrie ann moss as molly. neuromancer was hard wired for me long before i saw the matrix. janine turner was always my pick, though of course now she's really only be the right age for MLO. but we've been through all this before, haven't we?
