Natalie Portman is too cute and innocent to be Molly. And too short I think. Hard to imagine her as a meat puppet . . . well ok I guess I can imagine her as a meat puppet, but that's beside the point.

Being small never stopped Gillian Anderson, and David Duchovny was a rather tall chap. It's all a matter of a big enough box.

Natalie Portman wasn't too cute or innocent to be a stripper in 'closer.'

She'd probably have to pull a Linda Hamilton a la Terminator 2 and build some muscle definition though.

In my head, I see Clancy Brown as Armitage. Just imagine that awesome voice when Armitage starts to lose it.

On the subhect of voices, I like the idea of John DiMaggio, the voice of Bender, for Dixie. I think of that laugh and think of Bender.

And Finn? Danny Devito.

Yes she was, I didn't beleive her in that role. Even in the scenes where she was actually stripping she looked, to me, very out of place.

Nah. I think she'd be perfect. I always imagined Molly as having an "animal magnetism", but not conventionally attractive. Like Anne Parillaud in Luc Besson's "Nikita".

Wait wait wait, what about Anne Parillaud in La Femme Nikita was not conventionally attractive? I mean once she was off the drugs. Aside from her "singing" of course !

Or maybe I just really have a thing for big boots.

Molly: Amanda Donohoe (back when), not for physique or anything, but for ability and the absolutely right face to wear implanted aviator shades. And not innocent at all.

Man I have to go back and read them all again now, I haven't done that in two years I think (last time I read them in reverse order which was kind of interesting, I caught different things than I had previously).

This one I'm particularly proud of. Smile The jacket/body was from an Amazon.com ad... background is Shinjuku.

Last one before I go to bed (it's 7:30 am).

Case, with his Ono-Sendai, in a capsule hotel, about to jack in. Note the shuriken in the background Smile

The Ono-Sendai is an altered Atari 2600. I've upgraded the 'trodes to wireless Smile

I plan on working on this one a little more, but I gotta crash for the night.

The best Molly I have ever seen.
Her name is Shikhee and she is from the music project; Android Lust. I don't know if she can act though.

Am I hallucinating, or is Riviera described as having different-coloured eyes? I haven't read Neuromancer in about two years. I think for some reason I pictured David Bowie in that role, and eyes may have been it.

The Music Master in Idoru is supposed to be modeled on Bowie and references the different colored eyes as being a copyright infringement or some such.

I can't remeber if Riveria has different colored eyes. i think he may. And I've read the thing probably 15 times....
