Also in Japan: a woman was found dead in a car accident that killed her family.

The woman however had been dead for several days.

In Washington state, minimum wage is, last I knew, highest in the nation. A few cents around 8$/hour.

Really. People thanked me for calling them from the blue via annoying-ass predictive dialer automation, interrupting whatever, and asking them annoying questions for 10-25 minutes.

If I can write novels as well as I can surmount the enormous 'solicitor barriers' -- psychological, technological, and legal -- I should be quite successful as an author, I think.

My 21 years' intermittent telephone invasion skills are perhaps the thing I'm most "professionally" proud of. I know how to dive through the telepipes and *touch* people.
