AVPR1a And The Genetics Of Generosity

Are those inclined towards generosity genetically programmed to behave that way? A team of researchers believes this to be true based on their latest study.

Interestingly enough the same gene has also been linked to a lower age of first sexual intercourse. Smile

AVPR1A and OXTR polymorphisms are associated with sexual and reproductive behavioral phenotypes in humans. Mutation in brief no. 981.

I'm sure one's whole socio-economic situation doesn't have anything to do with generosity... Anything to keep from being personally accountable for our actions.
