More money trouble in Strivtown

Greece may have to go to the IMF for help. I don't know to what extent Greece is allowed to protect its domestic industry from non-euro competition right now but a condition of IMF assistance is essentially a complete removal of trade barriers with the rest of the world. And they still think they will need to cut the budget to make the debt payments or increase the collection of taxes that people are avoiding? The Paris club may be a better choice for Greece, but I don't know if they would require the same trade barrier removal. It seems the lenders are worried about Greece's ability to repay. Portugal is next, and Spain and Italy not far behind. I think we have discussed this possibility before during the French riots and how the European system may not be able to support itself without more growth.
