I dunno - it's gotta hurt, but it is an 8 year old story. It'll be interesting to see what happens if he's asked about it in the wake of the story resurfacing.

I don't know... I think if it comes down to the Convention, (and it very well might,) Hillary has enough connections with the party higher-ups that she could convince the majority of the "super delegates" to vote for her.

...and I would have known that had I paid attention to the editor's blurb at the top of the page. Or the Bush v McCain poll results at the bottom. Frown

2002 Obama and Obama by proxy.

It's a very good speech, it's too good, it's too cognizant of it's own potential place in history. It's post modern, I mistrust it.

Dreamed last night about Obama dropping out of the race. He was on TV saying politics were too dirty for him to go on... weird dream. I'd rather dream of Ms. Barrymore.

She look like an old GF of mine, those new commercials with the Revlon or whatever remind of her all the time now. It's mildly disconcerting.

Good news on the weekend Big Grin

Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow in Virginia!

An AP-Ipsos poll of 1029 people taken Feb 7-10 had people choosing between Obama (48%) and McCain (42%) or Clinton (46%) and McCain (45%).

So....I caucused for Obama on Saturday. I have never done this before, and was more interested in the process than the results. I do not like Hillary and her brand of Dynastic Politica, so I threw my hat in the Obama ring, along with my neighbor who'd accompanied me. Out of 7 delegates in our precinct, Obama got 6.

How we ended up being elected delegates is sort of beyond me, I think it had something to do with the fact that we had opinions and were able to voice them loudly, and weren't going top change our minds or be persuaded otherwise, but we accepted an will be delegates for Obama on April 5th at our district primaries.

This process is fucked, probably won't affect the outcome, and really a waste of time, however, in the words of some d00d smarter than I: "Know thine enemy..."

Oh that's cool! a friend of mine in Seattle did some driving for the Obamaniacs on Saturday. I haven't heard his report yet.

There are so many people involving themselves in this election, it's encouraging. I wonder if we'll get involved in our next one up here...probably not, we don't have anyone charismatic available to get everyone fired up.

Thank you, Dennis. Now as you know, there's been a lot of talk about a black vice president. And I just wanna tell the world that it'll never happen. As long as you live you will never see a black vice president, you know why? Because some black guy would just kill the president. I'd do it. If Colin Powell was vice president, I'd kill the president and tell his mother about it. What would happen to me? What would they do? Put me in jail with a bunch of black guys that would treat me like a king for the rest of my life? I would be the biggest star in jail, alright, people would be coming up to me and I'd be signing autographs: "97-KY, here you go." Guys would be going: "You're the brother that shot Bush. And you told his mother about it huh? I hope my children turn out to be just like you, Man, you know I was getting ready to rape you until I realized who you were. And even if they had a death penalty, what would happen? I'd just be pardoned by the black president. So you see, Dennis, it would not be in George Bush's best intrests to place Colin Powell on the ticket.

See, this is why you guys don't have a Nobel Prize:

Doris Lessing Says Obama'd be MLK'd.

Wait, Boog got his Nobel overturned, right?
