Even if true, I still respect any young person who joins the military. He wasn't looking at prison time for vandalizing a school bus. Maybe they found out he'd enlisted and dropped whatever minor charges there were.

I would expect the same for my own son.

I'm going to assume he joined because he wanted to serve his country.

Supposedly it was 45 schoolbuses and $10,000 in damage, and a minor stealing liquor, does that change things?

Micro-societies and economies.

Mmmm...

Maybe.

But what kind of economies will be on the micro bridges?

You know.

Eyes and shit.

That is, of course, exactly what I meant. So you aren't, as usual, mixing up people on the internet with the hillbillies around you in Wyoming.

I guess what I mean to get across is that we're all class warriors. That is, war has been taken to us. Declared upon us. Perhaps, class refugees. A higher caste has developed above us.

The US Government is nationalizing Freddie May and Freddie Mac. They're nationalizing the mortgage industry. They preach small government, but they're saddling us working-class American citizens with rescuing Chinese debt.

The details will be announced Monday, but note that the company officers and boards of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will get millions and millions in severance. The CEOs will get hundreds of millions. Would we get severance if we destroyed 100% of the value of the companies we work for? No. Why do they?

They're in a different class than we are.

An upper caste.

Billionaires are impossible without direct intervention in the free market by government, on their behalf.

Show me a billionaire, I'll show you that government intervention.

If the Government is going to nationalize industries, that's fine. Entire sectors of the economy. Cool.

But nationalize a few that aren't in trouble! Nationalize a sector that's doing great!

Ima taxpayer. A founding shareholder (by default) in this industry you're nationalizing.

Get me a good deal for once!

Excellent video depicting McCain asking Palin to be his VP

I still don't see how a warlord murdering his way to class equality has anything to do with voting for Obama, regardless of the misinterpretations.

I get that Harvard is elite and voting for the elite isn't exactly class warfare but I don't see how that relates to a violent and mistakenly zealous attempt at class warfare but a local strongman with guns. rather, the local strongmen would seem to be a more preterite from of class warrior whereas a Harvard grad would be an elect.

Nah. Just youthful rambunctiousness. Kicking up his young heels.

45 times.

There's gotta be some copyright protection stuff, but you're right. She's done well without the government.

The fact that she's a rare exception says something. She's British, right?

We got loads of American billionaires. Maybe one of them is an exception. Maybe one of them is without lobbyists. Successful lobbyists.

I doubt it.

STEPHANOPOULOS: But John McCain said the same thing about questioning your faith.

OBAMA: And what was the first thing the McCain's campaign went out and did? They said, look, these liberal blogs that support Obama are out there attacking Governor Palin.

Let's not play games. What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come...

STEPHANOPOULOS: Christian faith.

OBAMA: ... my Christian faith. Well, what I'm saying is that he hasn't suggested...
