Man, let's see Vlad strategically out-think Garry Kasparov.

Or, Vlad could just have him killed. Frown

That's sounds pretty good to me.

Reuters has news of a bunny exodus but they provide no photos? What's wrong with these people?

Yeah, it does. I like Neal Stephenson's idea of putting a hypodermic needle loaded with sedatives up there myself...

Marie Celeste revisited?

I reckon it's an alien abduction.

Oops....didn't catch the Marie Celeste reference. At least I had the decency to post a link unencrusted with the pop-ups...

My link inflicted pop-ups on you?

My apologies if it did. I have them automatically blocked, so I wasn't aware there was a problem with the page.

Bwahahahahahah!

Actually, given this story is essentially "Rightwing dingbats fall for comforting lies from utter nutjob" I guess it's not really that weird.

Via.

Are Canadian officials using Wikipedia to decide who to detain at airports?

Note the bit about Hrant Dink. Remember that stuff in Sterlo's Zeitgeist Distraction about the web-spiders that searches the net for anybody dissing the individual they're meant to protect and then sends tailored slanderous e-mails about any name they find to an address list of diverse homicidal whackjobs? Once again Sterlo appears to have cooked up an unnecessary tech for something people are perfectly capable of managing by themselves.

I seldom post here, and this is not really new, but I wonder about a world (and mostly a country) where this book can be taken seriously. The reviews and the other books by this fellow are also pure gold. Black, of course.

Okay, I'm torn over which of these is funnier:

Japanese scammers selling sheep with fancy haircuts as poodles

Wardrobe malfunction ejects Swiss fighter pilot from his jet

Tough call, really. Someone dumb enough to think they bought a poodle that goes "baaaa" vs suprise pants attack causing multi-million dollar aircraft loss--you be the judge which is worse! Big Grin
