I didn't think that quoting The Police was any worse than quoting John Cougar Mellemcamp Wink

Quoting the Police: OK.
Quoting Sting: NOT OK.

After a pretty darn funny song with 'lyrics' to the music used to 'play-off' winners going over the 45 second speech limit, Jack Black and Will Ferrell read the nominees for Best Song.

After reading the last song title, Ferrell paused, then entoned with an pompous Lipton-like air, 'Sting.'

Cracked Jack Black right up. Me, too. (And I *like* Sting.)

Today it is Eoin Colfer

I would guess, "Artemis Fowl" is his most known book.
