CALIFORNIA preacher Howard Camping says his prophecy that the world would end was off by five months because Judgment Day actually will come on October 21.
That's actually cool. Be a shame to waste a thread this early in the year.

Dunno whether I've mentioned before that I grew up Seventh-day Adventist, but I did. They're one of the offshoots from the Great Disappointment of 1844 when William Miller claimed the Second Coming was to occur on October 22 (coincidence?)
When it didn't, the SDAs decided that what actually happened on that day was an (invisible and therefore unfalsifiable) event in Heaven[1]. Something had happened, and the Second Coming was still imminent.
Camping seems to some extent to be working from the same playbook. Will be interesting to see what he comes up with in October.
[1] In brief, Jesus had got up and moved into the Most Holy Place to judge the lives of the living.

God to Earth: "You people are all total assholes! Why should I rapture a single one of your sorry asses up here to heaven with me? I never shoulda created you in the first place! I shoulda made the body count 100% in that flood! Fuck off and stop bothering me!"
