Choices:

I don't read it regularly, when I do, it's usually at a bookstore.

I don't read The Economist.

The only few times I read it was in my brother's room.
He had to read it for school. Talk about a chore...

I only read it in the dentist's waiting room, since it tends to be the only magazine that is not a gossip/fashion rag or that magazine that I only ever see in medical waiting rooms that seems only to tell "real life" heartwarming stories for women over 60.

My husband subscribes, so after a few years of receiving it every Saturday (when the postman delivers it on time), I've become quite fond of it.

I've actually never read it, though it often looks interesting on the newstand. I think I read somewhere that it has a conservative bias, though, I admit, I've never checked it out for myself. Maybe now I will.

Apparently Homer Simpson only reads the Economist on airplanes as well.

From the Wikipedia entry:
In The Simpsons episode "Catch 'Em If You Can", Homer is traveling by air in first class and says "Look at me, I'm reading The Economist. Did you know Indonesia is at a crossroads?" and when questioned by his wife, he simply replies "It is!" Four days later, with its customary dry wit, The Economist alluded to the quote, and published an article about Indonesia referring to the "crossroads". The title of the issue was "Indonesia's Gambit".[32][33] About seven months later, The Economist ran a cover headline reading "Indonesia at a Crossroads."[34]

Bathroom. I would not subscribe, but I had to get rid of some miles and most of the other magazines you can pick are worse than the Economist.
I have to say that there are SOME interesting articles, mostly in the biz/technology sections.

I'm trying to remember if I had to use it for Econ in college.

Had to use The Wall Street Journal I remember.

Actually, liberal in the traditional sense (i.e. what would be called libertarian in the US).

I read this in the tub, (extra hot water fr5om the kettle too!)
I like this better, good to read The Economist though. They are tub reading for me though, some times over breakfast however, morning coffee. Waiting in the car, good place to read The Economist.
The Week though... put it on your "try it" list

I read economists where I read everyone else: in my Tarot-tent.

Yes, the covers are pretty fun, the dick cheney quail hunter was a past favorite of mine. I like the way The Week samples articals from round the globe on the same issue, always good for some fluff as well as news too.
