i don't read it. but in saying that, i have their forecast for 2008 special edition sitting in the house, which i picked up on a whim and out of curiosity for the future. same way as i'm just finishing reading an issue of new scientist which was dedicated to china.

I like it, it IS dry and very subjective but I like the sort of detail they delve into. I can't help it though, I am an econ geek.
-- The gunfire around us makes it hard to hear. But the human voice is different from other sounds. It can be heard over noises that bury everything else. Even when it's not shouting. Even when it's just a whisper. Even the lowest whisper can be heard - -over armies... when it's telling the truth.

Speaking of the Economist I first read about Tata moters there. It seems they are nearly a lock to buy Jag/Land Rover.

Probably ethnocentric of me or something, but their name makes me laugh... and usually add the word 'bodacious' in front of it.
