It's not polite to say so, but she looks really ugly. All the destruction is terrible.
Does anyone know what they do with Guantanamo when there's a storm?

All you can say is WHAT happened. You do not know why. You will never know why.

The meteorologists may well run out of names for them.

What I want to know is, who is it picks out names like Wilma, Edna, and Charley for a freakin hurricaine? How about Medaea, or Kubla Khan? How about Mothra? No, it was Edith that flung your pick-up truck in the frozen-foods ailse.

The US Army starts running off more copies of Form AA2-132, "Suicide by Self-Inflicted Weather".

not yet, I am flying out of San Juan, Puerto Rico this afternoon. The hurricane is a few hundred miles to the north east from me, but we might be able to see something from the air.

Remember, the oxygen masks dropping from the ceiling is your cue to put the camera or at least the memory card, in a zip-lock bag and tie it to an EPIRB.

Whoops, Alpha seems to go in a collision course with boggerhead...
Good luck, man.

Meanwhile... that Wilma really blasted the mexican Mayan Riviera back to the... 80's, more or less. Heavy damage on resorts, and the usual lack of supplies and energy mean quite few beautiful nights for all those stranded in the area. This year has been quite a bitch on my country, hurricane-wise.

Hope it's not too cold down there, yet.

I can't believe how slow it went, grinding along with 170 mph winds, at one point - just below Bravus' legal limit for a category 6.

I'm spitting in my shirt 3x for boogerhead. Wink
