Siemens has unveiled a new paper-thin TV screen.
"The technology makes it possible to put moving images directly on to paper or foil at a cost that would make it economical to use on everything from cornflakes packets and cigarettes to instruction manuals"

No mention of any sound capabality though, which is probably a good thing. I don't think I could take it if my cigarettes started shouting "I'm burning! I'm burning!" when I light up.

Danke, Deutschland!

I've heard talk of printed OLEDs and circuitry (using the uber-cool coffee method) to print out the OLEDs and the circuitry on almost anything.

However, only this year have they been able to create blue OLEDs with a lifespan as long as the red and green ones.

Man, I'm totally getting that done to the inside of my glasses.

Maybe these new paper-thin screens should come in a convenient roll.

That way you could watch TV then express your appreciation of the content by wiping.

Then it is a great power, and fights small powers, but pretends that they are great powers, in order to rekindle the ashes of its ancient emotion and vanity. After that, the next step is to become a small power itself."

Or rolls of wallpaper... Combine this with Spielburg's new glasses-free 3D cinema technology and you could have 3D virtual strippers in your walls.
