Oh. She's one of those. Sorry to say, but i don't think too highly of them, they tend to be ignorant, and are a part of why the problems between the two groups aren't getting any better.

So who are those? Are most Belgians moderate about these issues, contrary to what the BBC has told me?

Somehow I'm reminded of the Monty Python skit about the hate show running a contest to come up with a racist name for Belgians. The runners up: "the Phlegms," "the Sprouts." The winner:
"Ugly, dirty, fat Belgian Bastards."

aye, ArkanGL pretty much has it. Most belgians are indeed moderate about this issue. The recent struggle with the government formation have put the wallonians vs flemmish issue a bit more on the foreground, but it is not as dramatic as foreign media likes to make it appear to be.
