Apollo, sun god and god of the idea of light,

...while the City of Temples' procession is watched, day and night, cut into sense by techniqued editors, from the glass eyes of Panaflex and their maestro, Sir Ridley Scott.

(Translation: " . . . as the Olympic commercials are filmed in epic, Gladiator style by Ridley Scott.")

Plunged in thy depth of mercy let me die
The death that every soul that lives desires.

Is it just me, or are Greek chicks in those white robes really really HOT?

I mean, objectively that lady is not really that great looking. But put her in that faux-classical robe and I'm all over it.

If Helen was wearing one of those things, I would have besieged Troy, too.

I nominate that as the new sexual euphemism.

Big Grin It does work nicely, doesn't it? I tell ya, if the wife wears that nice little black skirt tonight, I might just besiege Troy.

It helps that her name really is Helen. Maybe my classical Greek woman fetish is more influential than I thought.

- Girl, you have a face pretty enough to launch a thousand ships.

Are you saying I'm an aircraft carrier...

- No, I mea... wait, that doesn't even make sense.

Or maybe just the worst movie ever!

So, if Helen's beauty could launch a thousand ships, would the beauty necessary to launch one ship be a millihelen?
