Only two Rep candidates make it onto the VA primary ballot.

Just an example of how badly organized the Reps in this race are. Not only can the leading candidates not get on the ballot their staff vow to pursue an aggressive write in campaign in a state that doesn't allow write in candidates.

Fucking morons. They couldn't find their ass with both hands, a map, and a flashlight.

Just a note, in the past two days the Iranians have asked for negotiations and now claim they have no intention of developing nuclear weapons and seem open to the idea of inspections and today North Korea agreed to the same.

We will see if they will stick to this. If so it will make Republicans who were critical of the administration's policies on both countries as either too militaristic or too passive look like fools come November.

Maybe Obama actually knows what the fuck he is doing even if Congress doesn't.

Meanwhile, the Republicans are obsessed with probing the vaginas of women who want abortions.

Wait, isn't that exactly what those women would be trying to achieve?

New Study Indicates Coffee Drinkers May Live Longer

WOOHOO !!!
quote:
... the data showed that the more coffee a person consumed, the less likely he or she was to die from a number of health problems, including diabetes, heart disease, respiratory disease, stroke, infections and even injuries and accidents.

Over all, the risk of dying during the 14-year study period was about 10 percent lower for men and about 15 percent lower for women who drank anywhere from two cups to six or more cups of coffee a day.

WOOHOO !!!

Yeah, I wonder if those are causal links or just correlations. People who drink coffee may eschew other risky behavior due to lifestyle factors.

Yes. I guess they never bother to teach the important, basic fact about correlation not equaling causation to journalism and communications majors.

Actually edit, I believe a decent argument could be made that coffee is THE gateway drug.

I do not particularly like Mr. Bezos' exploitative attitude, even if it is with the worthy final objective of space travel, but this is a good news:
